Project Name : Where a Bot? A 2D/3D Robotics Positioning System

Project Description
Ever since I created a swarm of robots for Circuit Cellar Magazine, Issue #284, I’ve been looking for a way for small robots to know where they are so that they could “work” together. I need something to work with shorter distances then what GPS can do.
Phase Dock is used as a prototype for determining a 3D position using Bluetooth. I monitor a series of BLE Beacons and compute where I am.
An Arduino UNO and a Bluetooth receiver form the heart of the project. An LCD displays distance and position information. A second Arduino may be used for data collection.
